BAHRAIN’S senior men’s national football team kick off their training tonight at the Bahrain Football Association (BFA) pitches in Riffa.
The Bahrainis will be preparing for their upcoming participation in major international competitions, including the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup 2019.
The nationals are set to begin training under the supervision of assistant coach Khaled Taj. Head tactician Miroslav Soukup will then take over when the team flies out of Bahrain to his native Czech Republic, where they will be holding an overseas training camp for about 10 to 14 days.
Soukup had named a 34-player squad to take part in the initial stages of local training. He is expected to reduce the team to 24 players before travelling to Prague.
